Key Responsibilities
- Ensure product, personal safety and the safety of others at all times.
- Carry out operations according to QMS, SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Ensure cleaning and hygiene of the area and equipment according to GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Follow HACCP requirements and monitor CCPs/OPRPs.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow hand washing, clothing, zoning, shoe change, beard cover and 5S protocols.
- Set up and start equipment, control operational parameters and maintain documentation for traceability.
- Maintain line efficiency and performance according to LLS and FTQ targets.
- Inspect production lines according to daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
- Replace all types of filters and participate in breakdown, shutdown and plant cleaning activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors, colleagues and peers to support departmental objectives.
- Ensure product, packaging and batch coding comply with the Nestlé coding system.
- Conduct daily physical opening and closing cycle counts and cross-check materials against SAP reports.
- Follow company policies, procedures, factory code of conduct and disciplinary requirements.
- Ensure FEFO is followed and material usage complies with standard recipes and target limits.
- Maintain relevant documents accurately and on time.
- Train subordinates and prepare them as backups.
- Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors based on business needs.
- Maintain 5S conditions, report near misses, create OPLs and develop visual standards where required.
- Strive for minimum downtime and optimum output.
- Conduct sensory checks and immediately report deviations.
- Review documents and proposed improvement changes on time.
- Support NCE sustenance through effective SHO, KPI development and GA practices such as basic problem solving, GSTD and DMAIC.
Requirements
- 3-4 years’ production experience in the food industry , with good knowledge of production line operations.
- A-Level secondary education , preferably with a diploma.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Intermediate to high-level computer literacy.
- Ability to use and handle machines, instruments and devices.
- Good communication skills.
- Good understanding of food safety systems.
