We are a leading provider of logistics information systems, cargo management systems and the services in the sharing economy. In the past few years we have expanded our footprint into South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana and Nigeria. JOB PROFILE
We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, results oriented and purpose driven Product Management Associate to join the new innovations team.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and prioritise user requirements.
- Develop User Requirements Specifications.
- Run User Acceptance Testing, beta testing and pilot programs.
- Be able to explain product features to users and lead user acquisition and on boarding.
- Works with the product team to create user retention strategy.
- Works with product team to create pricing structure that satisfy product profitability.
- Must be flexible as there may be sometimes when they will be required to represent the company during meetings and events that may happen outside working hours.
- You may be required to travel locally and regionally.
- Follow Industry trends locally, regionally and internationally.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least a first degree in Marketing/Applied Mathematics/Computer Science or similar qualifications.
- Excellent presentation skills and be able to use PowerPoint and Word.
- Highly analytical and positive minded.
- 0-2 years’ work experience (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Experience with software products will be an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
- Willingness to learn product management and growth hacking is a must.
- Clean class 4 driver’s license is an advantage.
Location: Zimbabwe with minimal travel expectation within the region
