Key Responsibilities
- Develops, implements and monitors annual procurement plans, budgets, policies and procedures.
- Provides strategic procurement advice to the CEO, Executive Management and user departments.
- Determines appropriate procurement methods and manages tendering, bidding, evaluation and award processes.
- Prepares and reviews solicitation documents, tender documents, evaluation reports and other procurement documents.
- Coordinates evaluation committees and manages relevant submissions and engagements with PRAZ.
- Conducts Market analysis and provides procurement intelligence to support value-for-money decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
- A recognised professional qualification in Procurement/Purchasing & Supply is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Public Procurement.
- A minimum of 3 years’ management experience in Procurement.
- Sound knowledge of Zimbabwe’s public procurement legislation and regulatory framework.
- Experience in tendering, contract management, supplier management and procurement planning.
- A valid Class 4 Drivers’ licence.
