PRE SALES CLOUD ENGINEER – Standard Telephones and Cables 363 views

Job Summary

Responsible for interacting with potential clients to determine their needs and expectations. Explain the value of the STC’s products to the potential clients. Create presentations, write proposals and other activities that assist in sealing the deal.

 

Duties And Responsibilities

Support the sales teams to align client business and technical needs to STC services.

· Specify the deliverables of services projects by developing detailed project scopes of work (SOWs)

· Clearly present complex ideas and solutions to various audiences

· Liaison between Sales and Engineering in the pre-sales process

· Stay current on industry trends and best practices, especially AWS and other cloud services.

· Provide subject matter expertise on cloud computing best practices.

· Develop and present cloud-based solutions on AWS and any other required cloud service provider platforms e.g., Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.

· Demonstrating customer use-case compliance via proof-of-concept engagements.

· Design and deliver solution demonstrations.

· Analyze and troubleshoot faults and other related customer support issues.

· Document projects and solutions

 

Qualifications And Experience

Degree in Computer Science or related fields of study with at least an Upper Second Class degree pass.

· Less than 2 years of working experience or highly capable young persons, who will be trained in modern technologies including cloud computing, unified communications, and AI.

· Competent in Computer Networking and Programming.

· Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
