PERSONAL ASSISTANT

The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

MAIN DUTIES

• Managing a calendar of appointments for the CEO
• Composing and preparingcorrespondence that is sometimes confidential
• Arranging travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.
• Communicating directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with Board members, and other stakeholders, on matters related to CEO’s activities.
• Researching, prioritizing, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
• Managing a variety of special projects for the CEO.
• Taking minutes of meetings
• Supervising the Receptionist and giving her the support required for her to efficiently carry out her duties
• Administering the Commission’s payroll.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATONS & EXPERIENCE

• 5 ‘0. Levels (including English)
• Diploma in Executive Secretarial Studies
• Payroll Packages (preferably Payday)
• Computer Literacy (MS packages)
• 2 years experience in related field
