On-Call Drivers
JF Kapnek Trust is a registered charitable trust, which has been operating in Zimbabwe since 1986. JF Kapnek Trust seeks to improve family health, reduce child mortality and create educational opportunities for children of Zimbabwe through the implementation of scalable sustainable programs.
The driver will be based at the Harare Office with possible visits to the field office and will be reporting to the Administrator. These posts are meant to fill our pool of on-call drivers who will be considered as and when the office requires their services.
The driver will be responsible for:
Safe transportation of people and goods; Vehicle Maintenance; Maintain an accurate Log Book at all times; Any other duties as assigned at the office
Qualification, experience and skills required
Clean Class 4 Drivers License; Basic Secondary Education; Basic written and oral communication skills in English and other local languages; More than 5 years general driving experience with NGO sector experience; Valid defensive driving certificate a must; First aid training an added advantage; The Motobo and Bulawayo candidates must be resident in Bulawayo or Matobo. Knowledge of the Matobo operating environment and geography is a distinct added advantage. Ability to speak local language is also a requirement for Matobo / Bulawayo.
