About AHF:
AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is a global humanitarian organization partnering with Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care and local authorities to establish Centers of Excellence for HIV management. AHF is currently seeking dedicated and highly qualified Registered General Nurses to join its team at the Beitbridge OI Clinic.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide confidential HIV Testing and Counselling (HTC), including rapid HIV testing and initiation of ART.

Deliver quality care, treatment monitoring, and adherence counselling as per national protocol.

Perform dried blood spot (DBS) testing on infants and counsel caregivers.

Screen for TB and STIs and make appropriate referrals.

Facilitate linkage between diagnosis, treatment, and psychosocial support services.

Monitor patients, interpret viral load/CD4 test results, and manage follow-up care.

Participate in patient tracing and re-engagement of defaulters.

Maintain accurate documentation using MOHCC tools and registers.

Assist with quality improvement initiatives, report writing, and SOP implementation.

Strengthen Sexual and Reproductive Health services within the facility.
Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Nursing.

Valid Nursing Council of Zimbabwe registration and practicing license.

Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in Opportunistic Infections (OI) management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-
Willingness to work away from assigned station when required.
