National Project Officer – (Policy, Liaison, Monitoring & Evaluation):

Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Mission, the National Project Officer (Policy, Liaison, Monitoring and Evaluation), will work towards maintaining strong collaborative and coordination relationship with the government. The NPO will facilitate the operations of the IOM country office in Zimbabwe through provision of advice and support on all monitoring and evaluation aspects on IOM Zimbabwe programmes in line with donor’s expectations and IOM requirements

Qualifications

University degree in social sciences
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in development work carrying out or assisting in participatory formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development projects in Zimbabwe
Knowledge of recent developments in sub-Saharan Africa and recent global migration trends and the migration and development debate desirable
Confirmed interest in migration and development issues
Experience in the usage of office information analyisis and report writing
Training in M&E development and implementation
Ability to work with basic presentation software packages (MS Word, e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, etc).
