Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Knowledge of mining legislation and regulations.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and maintenance ERP systems.
  • Registration with a recognised professional engineering institution.
  • BSc (Honours) Degree in Mining Engineering.
  • At least 15 years of mining management experience.
  • Minimum 10 years in underground mining operations.
  • Full Blasting Licence.
  • Experience in narrow reef mining.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of mining legislation and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering.
  • Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Zimbabwe or recognised equivalent).
  • Blasting Certificate and valid driver’s licence.
  • MBA or Project Management qualification is desirable.
  • Minimum 15 years of underground mining experience.
  • At least 10 years in senior underground management.
  • Proven experience delivering major underground capital projects.
