Marketing Services Manager – Tongaat Hulett Zimbabwe
Tongaat Hulett Zimbabwe Sugar Sales is offering a challenging and unique career opportunity to a highly talented and innovative individual with a successful record of accomplishment to drive the Company’s brand strategy in line with the Group’s brand ethos and philosophy.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Executive and working closely with the Corporate Affairs and Communications Executive, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for:
• Developing and executing Huletts brand strategies to increase top of mind awareness and equity.
• Managing interfaces with key advertising, research, and merchandising agencies to develop and communicate the brand’s unique value proposition.
• Identifying, developing, and deploying new communication media platforms to leverage brand positioning and visibility.
• Developing promotional interventions in liaison with Sales Teams to maximise reach in all market segments.
• Analysing market intelligence and initiating appropriate interventions to grow sales volume and value.
• Monitoring emerging local, regional and global marketing trends and dynamics.
• Driving the Company’s Customer Relationship Management Programmes to maximize customer value.
Requirements
• A first degree in Marketing, Economics or related disciplines earned from a reputable institution is a strict requirement. Other relevant graduate and post graduate qualifications coupled with MBA/MBL will be added advantages.
• At least 5 years’ progressive experience in FMCG and/or advertising environments.
• Demonstrable knowledge of consumer and industrial markets coupled with deep understanding of sales and marketing mix dynamics.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to build and inspire teams, lead change and establish networks of collaborative relationships within and outside the organization.
• High level strategic thinking and planning skills necessary to conceptualize, mobilize and execute projects and operational plans to deliver excellence at all levels.
• Innovative and problem-solving skills to manage complex and unstructured situations.
