MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above-mentioned vacancy that has risen within our organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Finance Director, the incumbent will be responsible for:
• Preparation of financial statements
• Alignment of financial management policies and procedures to regulatory standards
• Tracking of changes in legislation pertaining to fiscal and monetary policies
• Liaising with regulatory bodies such as ZIMRA, RBZ and Ministry of Finance
• Advising the Finance Director on regulatory changes
• Analysis of general ledgers and the trial balance
• Application for payment of declared dividend
• Ensuring timeous acquittal of GDIs
• Registration of Shareholder loans with RBZ
• Consolidation of company budgetary requirements
• Stock management and monitoring
• Costing of packed tobacco
• Inventory valuation
• Supervision of Financial department staff
• Ensuring compliance to ISO 9001:2015 requirements in the department

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA a distinct advantage
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
• Highly conversant with financial reporting standards
• Financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Tobacco industry experience an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
