Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance and enforcement of Council By-Laws, Resolution and Directives
  • Assists in the formulation and preparation of Loss Control and Security Risk Management Initiatives within Council.
  • Assists in carrying out Investigations for all cases involving employees.
  • Promotes Security and Risk Control Awareness i.e. crime prevention and awareness campaigns.
  • Checks on enforcement of controls in Council
  • Supervision of the loss control section of the Council
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in the Public Sector
  • Diploma in Security Management / Loss Prevention / Police Studies or equivalent
  • A higher qualification is an added advantage
  • Class 4 Driver’s Licence is an added advantage
  • ZRP, ZPCS experience is a distinct advantage
  • At least 35 years and mature
