Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and facilities.
• Ensure all lodge areas (rooms, public areas, outdoor spaces) are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Assign tasks, monitor staff performance, and conduct regular feedback or performance reviews.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service, resolving complaints or issues promptly.
• Maintain standards (e.g. presentation, hospitality protocols) to deliver a consistent and positive experience.
• Enforce policies for health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
• Conduct inspections of rooms and facilities, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are met.
• Participating in guided tours or guest activity coordination.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management
• At least 3 years of relevant experience the hospitality sector
• Experience in managing teams and operations within a lodge or hotel setting is highly valued.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
