Leadership and Advocacy Consultancy: Women and Law in Southern Africa

Women and Law in Southern Africa is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced consultant to carry out training of community focal persons on leadership and advocacy funded by GIZ. Individuals who possess the following attributes are encouraged to apply:
1. Good understanding of Advocacy and Leadership, Gender issues globally and nationally, especially in relation to Access to Justice and Women’s rights
2. More than 5 years’ experience in gender, advocacy , governance, leadership, women’s rights and the law
3. Extensive experience in Leadership, Governance and Advocacy
4. Knowledge of the Constitution and of the Gender Equality, Access to justice and Women’s Rights Provisions
5. Familiarisation with the alignment process and development of legislations processes
6. Demonstrated experience in women’s rights laws
7. Advanced University Master’s degree in the Social Sciences, Peace and Governance, Law, International Relations, Development studies or another course preferably relating to gender equality and women’s rights
8. Traceable references and evidence of sample work
