Key Responsibilities

Provide regular security updates and recommendations to the Plant Manager to ensure plant operations are always secure.
Monitor and control access to the plant premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
Supervise installations and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems and other monitoring equipment.
Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with local authorities when necessary.
Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including emergency evacuation and safety drills.
Investigate any security breaches or incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, techniques and technology advancements.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field from a reputable institution
Extensive knowledge of security systems, emergency response protocols and risk management strategies.
A good understanding of local security laws, health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Five years relevant working experience in a security management role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
