Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regular security updates and recommendations to the Plant Manager to ensure plant operations are always secure.
  • Monitor and control access to the plant premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
  • Supervise installations and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems and other monitoring equipment.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with local authorities when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including emergency evacuation and safety drills.
  • Investigate any security breaches or incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, techniques and technology advancements.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field from a reputable institution
  • Extensive knowledge of security systems, emergency response protocols and risk management strategies.
  • A good understanding of local security laws, health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Five years relevant working experience in a security management role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
