Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train existing staff on the required daily duties
• Monitor flock health, production levels, and mortality rates.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare standards and farm policies.
• Track egg production, quality, and yield against set targets.
• Maintain accurate records of feed usage, egg counts, and flock performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Manage inventory of feed, medicines, and farm supplies.
• Report operational challenges and recommend improvements to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field (preferred).
• Vast experience in egg productionn.
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in poultry farming, with a focus on layers.
• Strong knowledge of poultry nutrition, health management, and biosecurity
