The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, mapping, and defining land boundaries and physical features to support land ownership, development, construction, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Measure and map land features, boundaries, and elevations using surveying instruments (including total stations, GPS, levels, and drones), conduct topographical, cadastral, engineering, and construction surveys, and establish or re-establish property boundaries and beacons.
- Collect accurate field data on land, terrain, and existing structures, analyse survey data to calculate distances, angles, elevations, and coordinates, and verify measurements to ensure accuracy and consistency of results.
- Ensuring safe field practices and comply with local regulations and design/planning requirements.
- Work closely with site agents, engineers, architects, planners, and contractors to provide survey data supporting construction, infrastructure, and development projects, including setting out positions and levels for roads, buildings, pipelines, and other structures.
- Ensuring all work meets contract specifications, industry standards, and technical drawings.
- Analyse survey data to calculate volumes, distances, angles, elevations, and coordinates.
- Prepare detailed survey plans, maps, and drawings using CAD and GIS software.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment.
- Prepare technical reports describing survey methods and findings.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Land Surveying or Surveying Engineering.
- Proficient in surveying software (Auto CAD, civil 3D, GIS).
- Clean Class 4 Driver’s licence.
- At least 3 years proven experience within the construction industry.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
