Position Overview
Nzeve Deaf Centre is seeking a skilled and proactive Information Systems Officer with a strong background in ICT support and data analytics. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient ICT operations, supporting data systems, and contributing to the visualisation and communication of project impact across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ICT support, including hardware/software troubleshooting, installations, and user assistance
• Support the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) team in designing data collection tools and project data visualisations
• Create and manage infographics and data dashboards to present key insights and organisational impact
• Oversee data cleaning, storage, mining, and protection
• Install, maintain, and monitor all ICT systems, equipment, and network security
• Deliver user training and help desk support while ensuring compliance with organisational ICT policies
• Perform system maintenance, including backups, software patching, and firewall configurations
• Manage deployment and configuration of computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
• Administer activity information systems to ensure accurate data collection, processing, and storage

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICT support and data analysis
• Proficient in statistical tools such as STATA, SPSS, SAS, Excel, or EPI-Info
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with data modelling, reporting, and dashboard development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
