IT and Statistics Clerk 2454 views

1. Support, troubleshooting and diagnosis, repairs and maintenance of hardware/software failures, and providing resolutions.
2. Providing technical expertise on all ICT matters, inter alia, network design, implementation, optimization and upgrade.
3. Monitoring the LAN/WAN network environment including routers, switches, firewalls, Internet access and software applications.
4. Installation, configuration and maintenance of standalone and system network components
5. Ensuring the smooth running of all application systems including email, internet and the website.
6. Providing first line support for all departments and resolving queries quickly and proactively and helping users use systems correctly.
7. Design and implement a backup & recovery system and perform the back up and data recovery procedures.
8. Ability to solve Pastel day to day problems
9. Pastel business intelligence and report writing
10. Maintenance and repairs of Point of Sale, Printers and PCs

B. Statistics
1. Designing, compilation and production of statistics.
2. Exceptional and deep understanding of use of excel spreadsheets and other reporting software

Education Level
IT / Computer Science degree or related
Software Windows Server, SQL, MS Office, Wireshark, Windows Client support for Windows, WAN
Equipment PCs, Laptops, Point of sale, Printers and other hardware devices
Knowledge of all areas of IT to offer adequate support
Time conscious, obliging.
