HUMAN AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

REPORTS TO: MANAGER FINANCE, ADMINISTRATION AND HUMAN RESOURCE

The Position

This position requires for a Human Resources and Administration Officer to performing the following duties.

Kev Duties

• Participating in the recruitment and selection process of potential applicants based on qualifications, skills and experience.
• Calculating for payment of, monthly salaries for approval by management
• Monthly calculation of statutory obligations such as PAYE, NSSA and medical aid subscriptions, and submit to Accounts for payment before the due date.
• Develop and maintain a Human Resources policy for the Commission.
• Maintenance of staff files and attendance register.
• Recommending staff training and development programs to management;
• Organizing new employee orientation, on-boarding, and providing individual employment pack;
• Updating job requirements, job descriptions and advertising of vacancy posts as guided by management.
• Advising management on employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
• Maintain and ensure the Commission’s assets are well maintained.;
• Maintenance of the stores register by receiving and issuing out office supplies and staff provisions;
• Procuring of the organisation’s goods and services requirements in line with the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe guidelines;
• Participating in the Commission’s assets disposals;

Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Administration or a related field;
• Qualification or studying purchasing and supply will be an added advantage
• Computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word & Excel
• At least 3 years experience with willingness to learn and grasp new things;
• General know ledge of employment laws and best practices
• Good interpersonal communication skills;
