We are seeking a dynamic, exceptional, forward-thinking, and strategic leader to drive our Strategy and Transformation function as part of our executive leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head Strategy and Transformation is responsible for leading the development, execution, and monitoring of corporate strategy and transformation initiatives. The role drives the organization’s strategic agenda, including digital transformation, data analytics, and organizational change. It also provides strategic oversight of data protection, ensuring that data governance, privacy, and compliance are fully embedded within all strategy and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of long-term corporate strategy and business plans.
  • Conducts market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and scenario planning.
  • Leads enterprise transformation initiatives such as digital transformation (AI, cloud, automation), business process re-engineering, and new business models.
  • Monitors and evaluates business strategy performance.
  • Tracks progress against strategic objectives, KPIs, and targets.
  • Ensures that data protection principles are embedded in: Corporate strategy, Transformation programmes, and Digital initiative (AI, cloud, analytics).
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulations, including data protection privacy laws and confidentiality requirements.
  • Leverages analytics to monitor trends and performance patterns, generate insights for strategic decision-making, and integrate business intelligence tools into strategy management.
  • Identifies and tracks risks associated with strategic and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or any related field.
  • MBA/MBL or equivalent is a must.
  • Relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience in strategy, consulting, telecoms, operations, ICT operations, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience at a senior managerial level.
  • Proven experience in strategy development and execution, digital transformation, and the telecom/IT industry, with strong expertise in corporate strategy formulation and execution, market analysis, and business modelling.
