Job Description
Here is your chance to work and make a difference in a dynamic services company focusing on Telecommunications and Digital Security products! Standard Telephones and Cables (STC) is looking for genuine “deal creator and closer” to lead our Sales strategy and team, ensuring that growth targets are met whilst delivering superior customer satisfaction.
- Define plan and and drive the Sales Strategy – effectively leading the sales team to deliver it.
- Establish and promote the vision for consistent improvement of service and solution delivery standards
- Analyze the costs, value and risks of delivering the Sales Strategy.
- Plan, direct, and oversee the successful management of relationships with existing and prospective customers as well as 3rd Party suppliers, ensuring databases are kept up to date.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to feed into the Sales Strategy ensuring that STC is always ahead of or in line with the competition.
- Keep abreast with the latest technological systems and platforms to improve products and customer experience and gain competitive advantage
- Plan, and manage the successful implementation of internal projects to continually improve the sales and customer service process.
- Ensure sales targets are achieved by maintaining existing/acquiring new profitable customers.
- Prepare regular and accurate sales pipeline and sales activity reports.
- Ensure a consultative approach to selling appropriately tailored solutions to meet customers’ needs.
- Manage efficient delivery of customer solutions, and complete customer satisfaction assessments.
- Prepare professional presentations and proposals, reflecting a robust understanding of the customers needs and illustrating effectively how our solution meets their need.
- Successfully handle any complaints from customers about products or service, ensuring records are kept.
- Ensuring STCs ethic, professionalism, punctuality and courtesy are adhered to by the sales team at all times when dealing with clients.
- Engage in networking activity within the Telecoms and Information Technology business community.

Job Requirements
If you believe you are a genuine “deal creator closer” and have the following, we would love to hear from you:
- Educated to BSc degree or Technical Diploma ICT, Telecommunications, Security or related field.
- Experience in security solutions, telecommunications and technology environments with particular skills in Telecoms Sales both hardware (PABX), connectivity/VOIP and Electronic Security systems.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, planning and organization and communication skills.
- Must be self-driven, motivated, innovative and a strong team player.
- Adept to interacting with both executive and operational stakeholders
