Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for judicial and professional development programmes.
• Design, implement and oversee curricula and continuous professional development (CPD) frameworks.
• Lead the development and delivery of digital and blended learning programmes, including e-learning platforms.
• Oversee research, knowledge management and development of training materials to support judicial excellence.
• Implement quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation systems to assess training effectiveness and impact.
• Build institutional capacity through targeted training, mentorship and development initiatives.
• Engage key stakeholders to ensure training programmes remain relevant and aligned with sector needs.
• Support change management initiatives, including digital justice and institutional reform programmes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognised university.
• Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or a related field.
• Doctoral degree (PhD/DPhil) is an added advantage.
• Additional qualifications in judicial education, public administration, leadership or digital learning are desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience.
• At least 5 years at senior leadership level.
• Demonstrated experience in judicial or legal training and curriculum development.
• Proven institutional leadership, research and capacity-building experience.
• Experience in digital learning, stakeholder engagement and change management.
• Strong understanding of the Zimbabwean judicial system.
