Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for judicial and professional development programmes.
- Design, implement and oversee curricula and continuous professional development (CPD) frameworks.
- Lead the development and delivery of digital and blended learning programmes, including e-learning platforms.
- Oversee research, knowledge management and development of training materials to support judicial excellence.
- Implement quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation systems to assess training effectiveness and impact.
- Build institutional capacity through targeted training, mentorship and development initiatives.
- Engage key stakeholders to ensure training programmes remain relevant and aligned with sector needs.
- Support change management initiatives, including digital justice and institutional reform programmes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognised university.
- Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or a related field.
- Doctoral degree (PhD/DPhil) is an added advantage.
- Additional qualifications in judicial education, public administration, leadership or digital learning are desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience.
- At least 5 years at senior leadership level.
- Demonstrated experience in judicial or legal training and curriculum development.
- Proven institutional leadership, research and capacity-building experience.
- Experience in digital learning, stakeholder engagement and change management.
- Strong understanding of the Zimbabwean judicial system.
