Lower Save East Subcatchment Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and well experienced persons for appointment to the above position which has arisen in the organization. Successful applicant will be based at Chipangayi Lower Save East Subcatchment Council. The accounts clerk will report to the Secretary Treasure/ accountant of LSESCC. The above position is a 6 months fixed contract with possibility of renewal depending on work performance.

  • Receipting
  • Bookkeeping and data entry
  • Reconciliations
  • Financial report support
  • Updating, recording and reconciliation of the cashbooks
  • Updating ledger and other journals
  • Riling and archiving council records
  • Carry other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements

  • Higher National Diploma in Accounting/Management/HRM/Economics/ related study
  • Relevant degree will be an added advantage
  • Should be mature honest and have good communication skills
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar position
  • Must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Computer skill a prerequisite
  • Class 3 driver’s license will be an added advantage
