Job Summary

Duration of internship: 12 Months 

Responding to callers in need of psycho social support and providing health information to young people in the community.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide tele-counselling to adolescents, young people and proactively respond to their concerns
• Facilitate referrals for all clinical and non-clinical services to relevant service providers
•  Compile case reports for all cases (Case Documentation )
•  Follow up on dropped calls pending cases and to respond to messages from clients
• Compile and submit quality and accurate reports as required by line manager
•  Participate in awareness campaigns for children and young people within the community
• Maintain an accurate record of all calls, activities and correspondents

Applicant Specifications:

• Educational and Professional Qualifications Bachelor of Social Science degree In Social Work or Psychology.
• Registration with the Council of Social Workers is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of technical areas such as sexual reproductive health, SGBV, child protection and work with youth is an added advantage.
  Skills
• Written and spoken proficiency In English, Shona & / Ndebele.
• Good interpersonal skills, Including team work and strong networking skills.
