Job Summary
Duration of internship: 12 Months
Responding to callers in need of psycho social support and providing health information to young people in the community.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide tele-counselling to adolescents, young people and proactively respond to their concerns
- Facilitate referrals for all clinical and non-clinical services to relevant service providers
- Compile case reports for all cases (Case Documentation )
- Follow up on dropped calls pending cases and to respond to messages from clients
- Compile and submit quality and accurate reports as required by line manager
- Participate in awareness campaigns for children and young people within the community
- Maintain an accurate record of all calls, activities and correspondents
Applicant Specifications:
- Educational and Professional Qualifications Bachelor of Social Science degree In Social Work or Psychology.
- Registration with the Council of Social Workers is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of technical areas such as sexual reproductive health, SGBV, child protection and work with youth is an added advantage.
Skills - Written and spoken proficiency In English, Shona & / Ndebele.
- Good interpersonal skills, Including team work and strong networking skills.
