The Mining Promotion Corporation (MPC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and committed professionals to take up positions in its structures. MPC is a professional and economic mineral exploration and development company with title to a portfolio of diversified mineral properties in all the Mining Districts in Zimbabwe.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting field-based data collection.
- Collecting, recording and analysing sampling data.
- Conducting staff training.
- Carrying out data quality control and assurance.
- Supervision of subordinate staff.
- Maintain and disseminate accurate survey and other relevant information.
Requirements
- Diploma in Geology.
- Proven experience as an exploration Field Officer will be considered.
- 2-5 years in exploration or mining.
- Hands-on experience with some GIS software an added advantage.
- Experience in operating airborne geophysics equipment will be an added advantage.
- A clean Class 4 Driver’s licence, ability to drive a 4×4 manual transmission a must.
