Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse historical geological records and exploration data to provide insights on continuity and potential of the deposit.
  • Assisting tributers in understanding mine geology and plans.
  • Monitor and validate geological work carried out by the tributers and JV partners, including exploration, mapping, sampling and grade control activities.
  • Develop and implement geological exploration and sampling plans within reserved areas, EPOs and ground open to prospecting
  • Conduct geological mapping and data analysis.
  • Interpret geological data and update models of the orebody to guide mine planning and production teams.
  • Collaborate with contractor mining’s geological teams, site visits, data sharing and technical guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Geology or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in geology in the mining industry
  • Proficiency in geological modelling software (Datamine and Surpac)
