Key Responsibilities
- Analyse historical geological records and exploration data to provide insights on continuity and potential of the deposit.
- Assisting tributers in understanding mine geology and plans.
- Monitor and validate geological work carried out by the tributers and JV partners, including exploration, mapping, sampling and grade control activities.
- Develop and implement geological exploration and sampling plans within reserved areas, EPOs and ground open to prospecting
- Conduct geological mapping and data analysis.
- Interpret geological data and update models of the orebody to guide mine planning and production teams.
- Collaborate with contractor mining’s geological teams, site visits, data sharing and technical guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Geology or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in geology in the mining industry
- Proficiency in geological modelling software (Datamine and Surpac)
