FRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR – Hospitality Sector

DESCRIPTION

A self catering guest house in suburban Harare seeks an enthusiastic,motivated and driven individual to direct operations.

The person

– You are born to serve. You take pride in being hospitable and welcoming to guests. Making sure others are well catered to, is what drives you. Attention to detail comes naturally to you and you actively enquire about the well being of customers.

– Ideally, you will have a passion for guest relations and customer service. Customer service is at the core of what we do.
– ⁠You should be able to work long hours under minimal supervison.
– ⁠You must have a sense of accountability, discretion and business acumen.
– ⁠You must have excellent managerial skills and leadership qualities.

The role

– Attending to guests at check in at the reception. You will be expected to manage the guest experience from check in to check out.
– ⁠Dealing with any customer complaints promptly and efficiently.
– ⁠Taking bookings and enquiries via phone/email and social media.
– ⁠Supervising ground and house keeping staff to make sure rooms are clean and the estate is well maintained.
– ⁠Actively seeking bookings and marketing the establishment.

Qualifications

– Diploma or Degree in Tourism and hospitality management or similar.
– ⁠A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
– ⁠As this is a client facing role,you must be well spoken,presentable and well groomed.
– ⁠You must be able to start immediately.
