Key Responsibilities:
– Scheduled maintenance and mechanical repairs
– Reading mechanical diagrams and manuals
– Mechanical installations
– Logging jobs on CMMS
– Attending breakdowns
– Ensuring compliance with NSSA safety standards
– Assisting with electrical work when needed
– Housekeeping
Minimum Requirements:
– Apprenticeship training
– National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering/Diploma (City & Guilds)
– Class 1 Journeyman Card
– At least three years’ post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in the bakery/food industry
– Computer literacy
– Membership to a professional body (advantageous)
– Clean Class 4 driver’s license (advantageous)
