Position summary
The Finance and Administration Officer will assist the Factory Manager / Supervisor to oversee, track and report against all financial management and tracking of activities implemented under the Zimunya factory and Sawmill Project. He/she will also ensure that all financial transactions and reporting are in compliance with Jairos Jiri Association policies and processes and in compliance with local law. S/he will also be responsible for tasks related to office administration, logistics, and procurement as deemed necessary for activity implementation, roll-out, and support.

Specific roles and responsibilities
Manage all financial and accounting aspects of operations; Prepare and process all accounting transactions such as disbursement, cash receipts, journal entries and advances which are in accordance with Jairos Jiri Association’s finance and accounting policies and procedures; Prepare monthly project financial reports to the finance executive through finance officers at the National Office and the acting business development executive; Maintain bank, cash, and internal control records; Submit fund requests to the JJA HQ as approved by the factory supervisor; Facilitate and review all payments of subcontractors to ensure compliance; Provide administrative, logistical, and procurement support to field-based team, including the establishment of an onsite-stores office, transportation arrangements, and the ongoing operations; Other duties related to logistics, financial accounting and procurement, as assigned by the factory manager/ supervisor
Qualifications and experience
Graduate Trainee with a degree in Accounting; At least 2 years of experience in the same/similar role in another organization or association; Experience in working with people with disabilities; Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to write clearly and concisely; Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
