A woman miners association in Gwanda seeks to recruit a Finance and Administration Officer. The Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for all financial management tasks related to the Gwanda office.

Job description
The Finance and Administration Officer will report to the Executive Director and will be responsible for the following: Financial management of projects; Create organizational and project budgets in consultation with the Director; Monitoring and reporting of grants expenditure; Preparing and administering payroll; Liaise with auditors for annual audit; Producing timeously reports to meet monthly, annual and donor deadlines for the assigned grants; Administering and maintaining records on employees’ welfare; Ensuring maintenance and equitable use of the organization’s assets; Develop and implement all procedures and policies for the Accounts Department; Prepare the organization’s books of accounts for annual audit; Produce financial reports timeously to meet monthly, annual and donor deadlines; Design and implement control measures for expenditures and resource management; Support the Director in resource mobilization and equitable allocation of resources; Supervise staff (if any) in the Department; Plan for interim and final audits and ensure that recommendations are implemented; Ensure monthly reports are prepared and forwarded to director; Manage assets of the organization.

Qualifications and experience
5 ‘O’ Levels including English; BAcc or ACCA or CIS all completed; Up to date with IFRS requirements; Clean Class 4 driver’s license; 3 years’ experience of which 2 in NGO sector; Knowledge of software packages such as Pastel Accounting Version 11, MS Excel, MS Project and MS PowerPoint.
