The Men 4 Equality Trust has a purpose to establish a critical mass of boys and men who augment the gains of gender mainstreaming. Therefore, part of our work is around reducing inequalities by encouraging men and boys to be champions of gender equality in all its aspects: politically, socially, economically, and in any other facet. Again, we offer support services and counseling to the boy child victims of child abuse as well as other male survivors so that they get access to justice.
Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare all financial and accounting aspects including budgets of Men 4 Equality in close consultation with the National Coordinator; Prepare and process all accounting transactions such as disbursements, cash receipts, journal entries and advances in accordance with the Men 4 Equality’s finance and accounting policies and procedures; Prepare monthly financial reports and present to the National Coordinator; Maintain bank and cash records for the organization; Review all payments of subcontractors to ensure compliance; Provide, administrative, logistical, and procurement support to other members of staff; Develop and maintain staff records; Develop and maintain the organization’s assets register; Other duties related to logistics and procurement as assigned by the National Coordinator.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and experience
A Degree or equivalent profession education in Accounting or Business Administration obtained from a recognized institution; Experience working in the corporate sector required but should be inclined to work in the NGO sector; Mature individual between the ages of 30-40 years; Ability to work efficiently with Accounting Software, Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
