Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementing weekly sales activities
  • Liaise with production and sales teams on product lead times and customer requirements
  • Compile and update product price lists
  • Conduct telesales, sales calls and attend to walk-in customers
  • Prepare quotations and deliver product presentations
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on payments
  • Process customer sales transactions
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Maintain an accurate and updated customer database

Requirements

  • A degree strictly in Irrigation and Water or Agricultural Engineering
  • Proven experience in external sales or business development
  • Strong negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales systems
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets
