Key Responsibilities

• Providing strategic leadership to the organisation.
• Coordinating the development of annual strategic plans, operational work plans, budgets, and cash flow projections.
• Monitoring, supervising, and coordinating the effective implementation of approved work plans and programmes.
• Overseeing and managing the financial affairs of the organisation in line with approved policies and budgets.
• Providing overall Human Resource Management, including staff supervision, performance management, and capacity development.
• Serving as Secretary to the ZINQAP Board of Trustees.
• Representing the organisation at national, regional, and international forums and engagements.
• Monitoring, supervising, and coordinating the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ZINQAP’s Quality Management System.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Trustees from time to time.

Requirements

• A Degree or equivalent qualification in a Science-related field, preferably Medical Laboratory Sciences, with a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience working with an accredited External Quality Assessment (EQA) service provider.
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Computer Proficiency.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated managerial and leadership capability.
• A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
