Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following post which has arisen within Mudzi Rural District Council
ENGINEER (GRADE 10)
Reports to the Chief Executive Officer
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintenance of Council infrastructure, plant and equipment
· Management of infrastructural projects
· Preparation and implementation of the Engineering Services Departmental plans
· Supervision of staff in the Engineering Services Department
· Servicing the Roads and Works Committee
· Any other duties assigned by the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications
· A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
· A relevant Masters’ degree from a recognized University is an added advantage
· Membership of a recognized professional body.
· At least 3 years relevant experience.
· At least 30 years old and mature.
· A citizen of Zimbabwe
· A clean Class 4 drivers’ Licence
· No criminal record.
