Job Summary

Childline Zimbabwe is a Private Voluntary Organisation which is registered under the laws of Zimbabwe, specialising in child protection, championing, guarding and protecting their rights through the provision of safe, confidential and child friendly reporting mechanisms centred around a free 24 hour counselling services.

Childline invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of a Driver.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Drive vehicles for authorized trips and assignments.
   2. Fuel vehicles for officers.
   3. Keep updated vehicle log sheets.
   4. Ensure the safety of the vehicle while on duty.
   5. Report vehicle defects and technical mechanical faults.
   6. Maintenance of vehicles within Childline Policies and Procedures.
   7. Ensure that Childline cars are clean and comfortable for all riders.
   8. Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues.
   9. Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car

Qualifications And Experience

1. At least 5 “O” levels.
   2. Class 4 Driver’s License.
   3. At least 5 years of continuous driving experience.
   4. Valid Medical and Defensive Driver’s license.
   5. NGO driving experience is an added advantage.
   6. Punctual and trustworthy person.
   7. Knowledge of mechanical and vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
