Job Title: Dispensary Assistant x1 Harare
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Pharmacist, the position will be responsible for the following duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing medicines under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Label medicines accurately and provide basic usage instructions to clients as directed.
- Cleaning surfaces where medicines are stored to ensure compliance with Infection Control Policies and local legislature.
- Assists stores’ and stacks medicines according to FEFO and participate in stock takes.
- Responsible for OTC coordination.
- Operates the till accurately and handles money in a safe and secure manner in line with Vivat Finance policy.
- Reconciles daily cash transactions in conjunction with the Pharmacist for safekeeping.
- Cleaning and maintaining order in the pharmacy.
Requirements
- Dispensary Assistant Certificate.
- 5 ordinary level passes.
- 2 years’ experience working in a related field.
