Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been contracted by the Airports Company of Zimbabwe to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitable candidate for the position of Director Business Development.

Overall Job Purpose
The Director Business Development role provides support in the development and marketing of the Airports Company of Zimbabwe’s products and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
⦁ Develops and executes business development strategies and policies aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
⦁ Identifies and secures new business opportunities, ensuring client retention and growth.
⦁ Conducts market research to explore new business ventures, understand market trends, and analyze customer preferences and competitor activities.
⦁ Designs and implements marketing programs and promotional materials to effectively promote the company’s products and services.
⦁ Assists in the preparation and implementation of business development plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
⦁ Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with stakeholders such as airlines, tourism boards, and government agencies.
⦁ Negotiates and finalizes contracts with clients, suppliers, and other business partners, including pricing and service level agreements.
⦁ Organizes marketing-related events to enhance the company’s image and promote its services.
⦁ Participates in website design and updates to market the company’s products and services locally and internationally.
Qualificationsand Experience
⦁ A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business Management and Economics.
⦁ A Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Leadership /Marketing is a must.
⦁ At least 8 relevant years working experience, 3 years of which have been at managerial level.
Must be a citizen of Zimbabwe.
