The Role To oversee all aspects of the organization’s landand property development function, including establishing the vision, mission, goals and responsibilities of the department according to strategic objectives of the Company,
Major Duties and Responsibilities
•Provide strategy formulation for the land and property development portfolio Oversee the acquisition of land and property for subsequent development of same. Negotiates contracts for consultancy, partnership, co-management for land and property projects management and development.
• Ensure smooth implementation of the company’s land and propertydevelopment projects.
•Liaise and negotiates with relevant authorities and stakeholders for license agreements, relevant permits and approvals and management agreements for new real estate development opportunities.
•Liaise, supervise and manage the work of relevant technical expertise on development and construction of projects such as architects, surveyors, planners. • Ensure adherence to relevant environmental impact assessments and safety requirements. Perform any other duties applicable to your department
Qualifications/ Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent. Registered and Certified Civil Engineer with ZIE.
• 5 years extensive experience in land and property development-civil works and construction a must.
• Any other master’s degree such as MBA MBL is an added advantage
