Job Title: Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs
Duty Station: Head Office
Reports to: Secretary
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in developing and executing corporate affairs strategies that align with the organization’s mission and goals.
2. Oversee corporate communications, including press releases, media relations, and internal communications.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, media, community organizations, and industry associations.
4. Support the planning and execution of corporate events, community engagement initiatives, and outreach programs.
5. Monitor industry trends, media coverage, and public sentiment to identify opportunities and challenges for the organization.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate strategies.
7. Assist in managing public communication and developing effective response strategies.
8. Lead and mentor the Corporate Affairs team, fostering a culture of excellence and good brand image.
9. Ensure compliance with established protocols for official visits and ceremonies.
10. Organize and oversee events involving high-level dignitaries, including state visits, ceremonies and event co-ordination
11. Ensure NPAZ brand is visible in all digital platforms
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication or Media Studies or
Public Relations.
• Master’s degree in any related field is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or communications, with some experience in a supervisory role.
