DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include managing the performance of operating systems, modernizing delivery of services, and ensuring policies and processes are aligned with international best practices.
Duties
- Formulate RIDA ICT Policy strategies (Strategic Plans, Disaster, Recovery, Plans, ICT Policy, Operational, Tactical Plans, Annual Maintenance Plan and IT Risk Plan)
- Network Administration, Troubleshooting and configuration
- Monitor server performance and ensure security of IT systems
- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and make appropriate recommendations to the Director
- Planning and co-coordinating the development of work programs and the allocation of staff resources, monitoring performance of staff in the section, managing multiple and concurrent large, high-profile projects;
- Providing leadership, advising senior management on ICT matters and supporting the ICT governance system;
- Developing and maintaining ICT systems, infrastructure and networks;
- Managing other IT professionals, including tech support staff, software developers, etc.
- Supervises the administration o databases AP, Pastel, Bank Reconciler, and Business Vision and ensure accessibility from the server and workstations
- Performing other related duties assigned by Director.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science Minimum 2 years’ experience working in IT operations and working with particular systems that are relevant to RIDA
and further minimum three years experience overseeing I teams and projects.
