Reporting to the Cybersecurity and Governance Specialist. Key Job Purpose To perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and red team exercises to identify, validate and help remediate security weaknesses across the organisation’s systems, networks and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal and external penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and red team/adversary emulation exercises.
  • Exploit and validate vulnerabilities, analyse root causes and business impact, and document findings in detailed technical reports with recommendations.
  • Support remediation, retest fixes and share findings to improve SOC detection and DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or Electronics and Telecommunications, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Ethical hacking and Red Teaming skills with knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, SANS Top 25 and ISO 27001.
  • Must possess CEH Practical or PNPT. CEH Master is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience.
