Credit Documentation Officer
Purpose Of Role
- Responsible for drafting and analyzing mortgage loan documents;
- registration of mortgage bonds and ensuring safe custody of all loan documents.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the drafting, review and approval of mortgage loan documents, including but not limited to the facility letter and all other necessary paperwork.
- Liaise with the Institution’s Conveyance on the registration of mortgage bonds and ensuring that they adhere to the set time limits in line with the existing policy.
- Reviewing accuracy and completeness of the mortgage loan documentation before signing the Security Compliance Certificate and handing over the aforesaid loan documents to the Securities Officer for safe-keeping.
- Conducting periodical physical checks of collateral documents in terms of credit policy and issuing of certificates to the effect that the security documents are adequate and in good order.
Qualifications and Experience
- Requirements 3 years with relevant exposure to conveyancing, drafting documents and debt recovery process.
- L LBS degree in will bean added advantage.
- Well versed in litigation process for recovery of bad debts.
