Job Description

Looking for a young, energetic and computer literate Counter sales lady for a Bakery factory shop in Harare.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Maintain optimal stock levels on shelves and fridges to prevent stock outs.
 Report on stock levels, sales figures, and product performance to management.
 Upsell and recommend additional products based on customer needs.
 Handle cash, swipe cards, and other payment methods securely and accurately.
 Balance cash drawers and complete end-of-day reports.
 Provide receipts and help with bagging or packaging purchases.
 Create visually appealing product displays that entice customers to pick up items.
 Arrange products strategically, considering factors like brand, price, and promotions.
 Ensure product labels are clear and facing forward for easy identification.
 Maintain a clean and organized shelf presentation, removing damaged or expired items.
 Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, and availability.
 Capture customer orders into the sales system for non walk in customers.
 Assist with product selection and provide recommendations based on customer needs.
 Maintain a positive and helpful demeanor to enhance the customer experience.
 Any other duties as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications and Experience

5 O’ Levels, any sales qualification an added advantage
At least 1 year as a Cashier, Till Operator or Sales Representative
