FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT Job: Cost and Management Accountant (D2) Reporting to the Finance Manager
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for analyzing financial information to inform the Commission’s strategy.
The responsibilities of the job will include:
⦁ Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries, and financial statements.
⦁ Reconciling spending with a budget.
⦁ Analyzing financial performance and forecasting longer-term planning.
⦁ Recommending methods and strategies for cost-cutting.
⦁ Maintenance of records and supporting auditing efforts.
⦁ Developing and managing financial systems/ policies.
⦁ Completion and review of tax returns.

Qualifications and Experience
⦁ An Accounting Degree/ CIMA or equivalent.
⦁ Must have a relevant professional qualification as well as be a member of a relevant professional Board.
⦁ 3 years post qualification experience
