Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking meals in line with company standards and recipes.
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Proper handling, storage and control of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
- Monitoring food quality and portion control.
- Assisting in stock taking and minimizing food wastage.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and food presentation.
- Assisting in menu preparation and meal planning where required.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience as a cook in a busy restaurant, catering or hospitality environment.
- Relevant qualification in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or related field is a must.
- Ability to work under pressure and during flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Honest and reliable.
- Mature, responsible and physically fit.
- Neat and presentable.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
