Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals in line with company standards and recipes.
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
• Proper handling, storage and control of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
• Monitoring food quality and portion control.
• Assisting in stock taking and minimizing food wastage.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and food presentation.
• Assisting in menu preparation and meal planning where required.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience as a cook in a busy restaurant, catering or hospitality environment.
• Relevant qualification in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or related field is a must.
• Ability to work under pressure and during flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Honest and reliable.
• Mature, responsible and physically fit.
• Neat and presentable.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
