Duties and Responsibilities
• Participates in design review of C & I project designs
• Carries out Plant and Equipment Inspections
• Monitors C&l plant installations to relevant standards
• Carries out vendor quality surveillance and FAT
• Conducts commissioning and plant acceptance tests
• Participates in quality control checks, compares with specifications and advises on any deviations and possible courses of action
• Investigates plant failures and recommends solutions
• Prepares periodic reports
Qualifications and Experience
• A Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Applied Physics.
• ECZ registration and/or membership of a professional engineering institution
• Preferably 4years’ experience in power industry or heavy industry
• Experience with DCS systems is an added advantage
• Project Management Certification an added advantage
